You ever have one of those weird coincidences that make you think the universe works in strange ways? I had one last night @ Bathtub Gin. Sitting at the bar (which I almost didn’t go to because of a headache) I looked over & saw this Book of Big Words you Should Know…or something like that. The first page I turned to & first word I read was “expostulate” : to reason earnestly with a person for purposes of dissuasion or remonstrance. The strange part was the example sentence that used my Mom’s name. I don’t remember exactly what it said but it definitely described her stubbornness. Tomorrow will mark the 6th years since her passing & it’s just strange that I would come across that word & example last night. Universe, you are weird.
